This antique brooch features a polished oval green serpentine rock cabochon with beautiful natural inclusions, set in a sterling silver bezel. Crafted around 1900 by Austrian jeweler Hermann Bauer, the design is a fine example of turn-of-the-century European craftsmanship.
The reverse is stamped with the maker’s mark “HB” for Hermann Bauer and “925” indicating sterling silver purity.
