This rare vintage brooch by Escada features a large crystal-encrusted cat design in a dramatic runway format. Covered in open-back, prong-set rhinestones in vibrant shades of pink, fuchsia, orange, yellow, green, blue, and black, the piece reflects the playful aesthetic of late 1980s–1990s Escada jewelry.
Although unsigned, the brooch comes with its original red Escada Margaretha Ley pouch. Also an identical brooch with the same construction has been documented with an Escada signature, supporting the attribution.
