This ring is a distinctive sterling silver sculptural work from Lapponia, designed by Björn Weckström. The “Styks” ring first appeared in Lapponia catalogues in the early 1980s. Weckström’s sculptural language draws from Finnish landscapes and mythological themes. The name “Styks” references the river Styx from Greek mythology.
Hallmarked with Finnish national marks, the Lapponia trident logo, 925 for sterling silver, and date mark “I9”. Size EU 53.
